Need Help with my Fast Track Ultra 8R

I'm having real problems with my M-audio and I badly need some help.

When I turned it on tonight it didn't start right away. I turned it off and on couple of times and then it started finally.

Since then I havent been able to start Pro Tools.
I´ve tried everything but the computer can't seem to find the hardware.
I've tried re-installing M-audio drivers, Pro Tools , a new usb cable , even another computer but it won't work.

When I try to open Pro Tools I get the message "Unable to locate M-audio hardware. Make sure that your Hardware is connected and turned on"

When I then tried re-installing M-audio drivers I got the message "The Device is connected , please disconnect the device and try again" - something like that, when it wasn't even turned on or connected."

Doesn't that mean the hardware is broken ?
Or is there anything else I could try ?

when I check the M-audio Ultra... properties I get the message

"This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device."


The lights go on but it is like it's not there in the computer.

please please please help me.. I'm in the middle of recording an album on a deadline, so I'm fu**ed

1. Change USB port
2. Reinstal drivers (good chance to check for updated drivers)
If doesn't work call service
