Cheap equipment racks

Okay I found this on Gearslutz and had to share. This guy is taking $15 end tables from IKEA and putting rack rails in them to make inexpensive racks. Seems 6U rails fit them perfect. Good idea if you ask me

the table is only 11 3/4 inch deep... good for effects
...you can also buy rack rails, a sheet of 4X8 X 5/8 Birch, some bolts, screws, glue, stain/finish, drill and rip saw, make your own, at any size for cheap...plus deep enough to hold power amps 18-20 Inches...and add casters

this is what I did in my studio, and they look like furniture too, also made desktop
