my latest gig

hi all, i have been very busy lately with a bathroom remodel and this new gig for a local band, I finally have had a chance to post some pictures of my set up for the band I have been working with.







we set up on the "Cherry Blossom" river boat for a local graduation party.

I kind of thought the Hot Dog would get more attention that anything else.

but

I was digging the singer sitting down to the right of my loud speaker...
she has a real sweet voice. I found myself soloing her most of the night..

the setup does look nice and clean. I really do not know much about live stuff so I comment on the stuff I do know.. like hotdogs!

actually, the boat is a flat bottom boat, and you can barely feel any movement, I was afraid of the list and had reservations about setting up 100 lb speakers on sticks. I was surprised by the stability.

I thought they were funny too when i saw them for the first time. i don't think i would have opted for them if it was my band. they just pay me to make them sound good, not look good.

i do provide some rudimentary lighting though.

I use 2 Color Bank 8s by Chauvet bolted to the top of the speakers. nice lights, easy to hack and the bulbs can be bought at homo depot.
