Novice seeks help

Hi all, i'm new to this profession. The reason I got in to this line of work is because I play with a band and seeing the producer work along with the band and adding textures and 'feel' to the music the band came up with.

Anyways, i landed a gig to support my other sound related interest - producing rock n' roll, which i intend to do sooner than soon.

My job, which i landed a week or so ago, is to produce podcasts and online audio content.

I believe the equipment we have is sufficient - a Yamaha 16 channel mixer (too much for what the job requires), Telos One-x-Six and of course a computer.

We use Telos to record debates, interviews, etc

My worry - how do i set-up Telos? The manual is too taxing and since i do not come from a 'sound' background is all Greek to me.

Any other/more info required? Ask away!

Please help me on this folks, I'd appreciate it!!!!!!

Db...sorry I can't help you out here, but congrats on your position and new job, and welcome to the audioforums! There is sure to be some one here that is familiar with the Telos system...good luck, cheers.
