asio. no sound when selected.

i have a thinkpad lenovo t500 3 gigs of memory with intel core duo 2 with a 32 bit system. running windows 7. i am following the tutorial and instructions on how to set up the sound, however, it has no sound. i downloaded the asio driver from the web www.asio4all.com and still nothing. my computer has the sound settings with internal microphone on with output to the speakers...still nothing....it however works only when i deselect asio and put the settings on primary driver in fruity loops....i feel like im so close but yet so far...any help would be greatly appreciated.

You may just want to disable ASIO and run with Microsoft
Wave-something until you can figure it out,.
Open the sound card properties and
see what it is looking for.

Another idea is to go online, and update the drivers.

Delete FL through the control panel under remove programs, install
sound card drivers, reboot, test, then re-install FL.
no fear....HA!
