To MPC or not to MPC?

That is the question at hand, good people.

I recently purchased an MPC 1000 and got all the extras for it. I pretty much got it to get a jump start on my beat making journey.

Soon, I'll have a computer and all my tracks will be digital and I really won't need the MPC once I have converted all my vinyl to mp3/wav files.

I ran across this at turntablelab.com:

Since I still need to buy Reason 4 and Recycle 2.1 I'm thinking of selling the MPC. (my cracked copy doesn't work on Windows 7)

Advice and thoughts are appreciated. Have a great one!

Cracked software isn't well regarded on this site, as well it should be. Cracked software also does not perform in the same manner as legit software does, so do yourself a favor and don't play the guessing game as to why your system isn't functioning properly by adding inferior software into the mix......at least on your finished DAW build, it also make for impossible troubleshooting.
Most software is available in demo form for trial, this would be the best way to make a decision on what feels right for you.
Get rid of the MPC and buy your software....nice spinner by the way!

Cheers,
Steve

You're welcome peace....not trying to preach in that post, but just giving you my experience on the matter.
I have also used cracked software in the past, but you have to realize, that as well as what I've already pointed out, your contribution not only helps in it's development but also keeps it around.

I agree with that statement. Especially in the case of Propellerheads Software. Again, I thank you for you sharing your experience. I'm going with ADK. I've read their site. I've seen what's offered. I'm convinced and the Lifetime Tech Support that they offer "sealed the deal" for me.

I'll be a proud owner in just a few weeks.
