multiple instrument tracks for one synth

[Sound advice]

i'm having a problem building multiple instrument tracks that are assigned to one synth. i have one synth that i want to send multiple instruments out on multiple channels to multiple instrument tracks.

but so far i've only been able to have one instrument track per synth.

i've managed to setup a audio and midi track that work together to bring me an extra instrument from inside my synth, but this is a bit cluttery because it takes up 2 tracks for one instrument, and so 2 sets of controls for one instrument.

i tried everything i could think of.

only one of my instruments inside the synth showup in my patch list, if that means anything.
