Cool Edit Pro 2.0 Question

I just switched to CE Pro 2.0 from 1.2. I've been using 1.2 because it was more comfortable. I like it so far, but there is one thing I can't figure out.

In 1.2, when you selected a portion of a wave, you could use the left and right arrows to edit the selection, or SHIFT left arrow and right arrow to edit the other side of the selection. In 2.0, I seem to be able to only edit one side of the selected region, only with the shift button. You can't edit both sides of the region. Is there any way to turn on the option to edit both sides of a selection?

Does this bother anyone else? I went back to 1.2 because I can be more accurate in my edits, but would like to use 2.0. Any info will help. Thanks.

I beg your pardon! You are correct. I apologize, because I am glad you put it out. There are lots of times when I want something on the screen rather than jumping up & getting my binder with the printed manual in it.

I don't understand what you mean by "the other side of the selection."

Please clarify.

Its been a while since I've used CEP 2.0, but in 2.1/Adobe Audition - Edit View and MultiTrack View it works exactly as you described. There are also small yellow arrows at the top and bottom corners of your selected area that you can click and drag the ends of your selection to the desired position.
