MOTU catching up with ProTools LE Hardware?

So what's up with new MOTU firewire DAWs?
Are they better than DIGI002?
I'm thinking of getting 828 MkII - it just looks so much better than digi002
PreAmps wise? And everything?

Well the MOTU interfaces are modular, your needs grow just add any MOTU interface, they all get along PCI or firewire.

With the Digi hardware, when you want to grow the only option is a TDM system.

the motu stuff is more versitile.
