Recording in FL...HOW do you do it?

I've tried pressing record, but nothing is recorded. I heard i need something called ASIO. What is that? And does my Ozone Midi Keyboard have that already? Im not sure.

No, you definately won't need asio to record a midi pattern, as dj cutter said, pressing record will set your FL into record mode, and then you can press play to start the song (or a pattern) and play when you want.
After having pressed stop, FL will write the midi notes you played into the piano roll of the checked instrument.
