Red Drums!!!!!

Hi, I've got FL Studio 4 and a new PC - when I load the SL Studio, some of the drum samples are "red" - anyone got any ideas how I can get these to play.
Any help would be great.

If the channels in the step sequencer are red, it means that FL did not find the sample to load it. Check if the samples are really there and if not, try reinstalling the software. If you are still not able to use any sample, contact the vendor or FL developers (Image Line).

If the "red" samples are ones of your own, it probably means you've not transferred them to your new PC, or at least to the latest installation directory.

Ensure you've got the samples on your PC all in a well-organised set of folders and sub-folders, and make sure that all of these are in the FL Browser - so as not to lose track of samples. This should cure the problem.

If not, then re-load the sample in again, and that will definitely solve it (I don't know if FL does a dynamic check, or only checks in the last known directory of any particular sample).

it could also be that the ogg codec didnt install..

what version are you running? the newer ones, freely downloadable from the website for registered users, do this on install.
