My freind just got a new M-Audio card, I can't remember wich one. Bundled with it is Reson Adapted. The problem he is running into is that everytime he clicks on reason Cubase stops playing. He can't click on the mixing desk ether without Cubase stopping.

Yeah, I tried out Cubase so that I could do MIDI out from Reason to my keyboard, among other things, and wham! My computer crashes. It's not a wimp, either, at 3 ghz...

Reason and cubase dont run together? Where did you get that from? As a matter of fact, reason reWire is implemented in cubase. U need to start reason first, I think. If you play something in cubase, and click on something outside of the prog, it will stop anyway. And you need to release asio driver in background, so that reason can benefit from it. its in the properties menu in cubase... Good luck!

Reason runs together with just about every maior sequencers.
All you have to remember is: you have to boot the master first and then follow by the slave app.
When it time to quit, do it in reverse.
Once you figure which one to be a master, use its transport buttons to control both apps.
For more info: check propellerhead website about REWIRE. There you'll see all you need to know.
