still no tempo changes? i got the new FL studio 4, producer edition.....and i can't program it to change the tempo mid-song yet. http://www.audioforums.com/forums/mad.gif
unless someone knows of a way.....

no, i dont think that is possible. except for spacing out your hits closer to get a faster tempo, or farther apart for a slower tempo. you can always save your song in the first tempo. then do a save as in the other tempo so you now have 2 files, and just put them together in another program like sound forge.

Select an unused pattern, right click on tempo and edit the events, simple as that.
Just use this like every other event.

I still haven't needed to change tempo in any of my musical arrengements made with FL but I used skOre's alternative once to try it and it worked. The only thing is that I remember that I was unsuccesfull returning to the original tempo but maybe it was because I didn't try enough or checked the manual in final instance.

its really that simple - if you want to go back to a specific tempo, just go back to it in your event...
Oh, and if you want to have it simpler by the way, just click an unused pattern, start your song having the edit button pressed and do the change manually.
After stopping the song, your new event will appear in the right pattern _and_ the position in the song (which you can alter after that, off course)
