Placing sounds in piano roll v3.4 Only

Can anyone tell me how to make sounds on the piano roll that are not on beat? (you know when you place a sound it's always on a line)

When using scores the sounds are all over the place 1/6, drumrolls, anything you can think of but when I attempt to place something in between the lines it doesn't work

This question is for version 3.4.

I want to know how to do this for this version ONLY if it is possible outside of "copying and pasting" from scores.

change the snap settings to (none) or (tick)

or any smaller value and it should do it !
