Crack? I can't believe you actually have the audacity to come on this forum and ask about a program crack! It's people like you that drive the cost of software up and create problems for legitimate users. If you love to make music, why don't you try BUYING the software and supporting the programmers that make it possible for you to express yourself through music creation?
Personally, I hope the crack destroys your computer.

Come on now you cant say that you have never pirated a program, just about everyone is guilty of that.Ya I dont have any friends who have the program to pirate so I am forced to use a crack, but that doesnt make you any better than me.And not every one is rich and go buy a $400.00 program.

What does being rich have to do with it? I'm certainly not. I'm a poor student on loans, and I bought Reason at an academic price. However, making music is part of my career path, and I have enough RESPECT for the software engineers who make it possible for me to follow my dream. Obviously, you don't.
I still hope the crack destroys your computer.

Not everyone is rich enough to afford a Mercedes - so should they just go steal one?
When it comes right down to it, you're stealing. You're a thief, a common, petty thief.

This is the biggest "grey" area of our times. Of course it's not grey at all, but some people...
Quick lesson-
If you copy a program from a friend rather than buying it...
You are a thief and belong in jail.
If you use a cracked version of a program rathen than buying it...
You are a thief and need a mugshot.
If you burn a copy of an Audio CD instead of buying it...
You are a thief.
Since I support my family by the music I make and produce, you might as well walk up to my wallet, take out fourteen bucks, and then walk away. It's the EXACT same thing.
You can cry all you want about pricing or the "system" but when you used that crack, you basically have stolen from the well being of the families that work for Propellerheads. Yes they make money. Good for them. They need to make a living. And I don't mind if they make a good one.

did you seriously come to a public forum that is frequented by professional musicians and engineers and blatantly admit that you use pirated software? Then, as if that weren't dumb enough you accuse us of using stolen software? Not a good choice. You might want to take a look at the link I've provided below. Some of the highlights are the $250,000 fine and the 5 years in jail that you can be rewarded with for stealing software. Seems to me that $400 for a good software package is the more desirable way to go. Something to think about.

in Leftfoot's defence
anyone who says they have 'never' stolen 'anything' is either a liar or an alien
when i was a kid my entire music collection was copied/pirated onto audio tape. I dont think thats shamefull, if i hadnt been able to do that i would never have developed a love for music, and therefor in later years 'buy' the music i enjoy.
if leftfoot enjoys the reason pakage
he will eventually see that it makes sence to buy an original copy.
[if its a cracked copy he 'will' have limmitations, i.e. no support no updates etc.] Dont get me wrong he is still an idiot for advertising the fact he is using a pirate version and for asking legitimate users for advice
LOL
LOL
let's hope he grows up and see's sence

Chill out guys, Piracy/cracks may be wrong to pros but if your a newbie and wanna make music a few times a year then it is easier to get pirate than to buy copies. Im not condoning it tho.........
I use only real versions, however I remeber those days of Spectrum 48K tapes, remember those hehe.
No carrying on in here please.....stop enjoying your selves yous lot!

Go ahead and get a crack, but remember.....
Because of weak software sales.....
Steinberg sold to Pinnacle, Sony buys Sonic Foundry's software, Apple buys Emagic, Adobe buys Cool Edit Pro, do you see a trend here.
Most of the software companies have less than 100 employees, and you are helping to put them out of business. Let's see who survives a year from now.
