View Full Version : Hard drive an issue?

I know most sequencers that do audio require large, fast hard drives.

I don't see anything on Props Web site stating that a separate or fast hard drive is necessary for Reason. I'm just wondering because I've received error messages while using the demo, saying that my computer is not fast enough (or something to that effect).

I know it can't be referring to clock speed.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Your hard drive speed shouldn't be an issue as long as you have enough memory. (At least 256 meg, 512 to be comfortable.) What is the configuration of your system?

Thanks for the reply.

I have an 800 MHz iBook with 640 MB RAM. I have no idea why I get an error message about computer speed when using the demo.
