Can anyone tell me why we don't have song albums on mini-dvds? A cd holds 700mb, while Mini-dvds hold 1.47gb. Couldn't the dvd audio sampling rate of 24/96 be used instead of the cd 16/44 and therefore you could have a complete album with better quality audio on a smaller 3 inch mini-dvd?
This would be especially cool, because then I could carry around only one of what would be a mini-dvd case instead of 3 cd cases. This has been bothering for some time. Someone please call me a genius or a confused dumbass.
