I have a 24 io that I cannaot get to work properly. I have had 3 cards and 2 24io's, each with a unique set of problems.
Now every things works but there is nasty digital distortion whenever there is recirded audio present.
I would be grateful for any tips.

I have a 24i (with PCI-324card) on a P2-350 ASUS mobo Intel 440BX chipset that works great. Can record 24 tracks continuous till HD fills without a glitch even on that slow system. I've also run it off an Athlon 1800xp system on ASUS mobo using SiS-745 chipset working perfectly. The SiS chipsets for AMD or all Intel seem to be the way to go for Motu. All else is a bit more hit & miss though I believe there's a fair amount of success with nforce chipsets going AMD. The majority of complaints seem to come from VIA chipset users or user error. Lot's of thing's can factor in... system config & other installed hardware conflicts... vid card, usb devises & such.
