- MicroExpress PC Parallel port
- Windows ME, Pentium III 667mhz, 128MB
Trying to send a SysEx patch dump to a Korg 01/W from 2 different applications (including Cakewalk Pro Audio 9). NOT sending as part of a sequence. The synth is on Port 1 with nothing else on that port. I initiate the dump and the synth shows "Receiving System Exclusive" but then freezes up after the message is completely sent. I have another midi card in the computer (Tascam PCI-822), and when I send the same dump from that midi port it works perfectly - so it must be a problem with the MicroExpress. Seems like it's not flushing it's buffers the end of the message or something. The messages are about 75k. Other short SysEx messages actually in my sequences (path/bank changes) DO work...
Any ideas ?
