MOTU 2408 and what processer/motherboard?

I'm thinking of a new system. I was considering the t-bird 1.5 ghz and the IWill, I can't remember the model on it, but has something like a Ali Magic or some **** like that in it. Anyone know what chipset NOT to use with the MOTU 2408? That way, at least I can avoid that.!!!! Thanx

I know there are issues with certain VIA chipsets, but other than the VIA 686 (Apollo) chipset, I can't tell you if there are any others. In general, any Intel chipset will work fine. Anyone know which other VIA chipsets to avoid?

There is a known issue between some Via southbridges and Creative SBLives, but those issues do not affect MOTU interfaces. I use a 2408 with an Abit KT7A-RAID without issue.
