motu 2408mkII and cakewalk 9

Is there any way to use audio and midi with
the 2408/PCI324? I have a H.P.,celeron, 700mhz system with cakewalk pro 9. The old
sound card (built into the board) no longer
works at all-which doesn't bother me too
terribly much- except I would like to use the cakewalk
metronome while recording-or learn how to keep my first track starting on the "one" of
a measure. Yes, I'm new to this-in fact I'm
amazed that this stuff works at all.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The 2408 is audio only, but you can use your existing sound card for midi (if the game port part of it still works) or just get a cheapo SoundBlaster for midi only.
