ADAT won't record via MMC

I have AudioDesk, 2408, Digital Timepiece, & ADAT running off of my B/W G3/350. If I hit play in AudioDesk, the ADAT play. It rewinds, locates, arms tracks, etc., all fine from within AudioDesk. However, when I hit record, AudioDesk goes into record, but the ADAT just goes into play, causing me to manually press the record and play buttons to get it to record.

Is this a known issue, a setting somewhere, or what. How can I get the ADAT to know it's supposed to record? BTW, the Record mode in the MMC window is set to record (not rehearse or safe).
