motu 2408 mk2 freezi when play and stop

i have problems when play some times in any software, i install system motu 2408 in other computer with some results. help me...

Some questions to clarify:
Did you configured with its wizard to tell your PC which devices will be connected to 2408?
Your software recognize it? recognize the config you made?
Which kind of mixer do you have? Is a digital one?
The config of your PC?

hmmm... Sounds like my problem to. Please clarify your specs as asked above. I have a p3 1ghz 133mhz buss 256mb ram and a riva tnt 2 32 AGP. Win 98se. System locks in Soundforge Playback and Vegas playback. Well anything that uses the Multimedia driver.....Any pointers, I konow PC's in and out and am stucker than stuck.
