HI Folks!
CAREFULL!!!
For MAC G4's Bi-processors under OS 9.04 users,
DP2.72+UNITY 2.1 Don't crash anymore if you drag out THE APPLE MULTIPROCESSORING FOLDER (contains Apple CPU plugins) !!!
Just because (I hope) Motu are still testing DP for those new monsters.
BUT, in the meanwhile, It's really important to first make a good setup for your mac.
If only MOTU had mentioned that before,in the "read me" for the upgrade to DP2.72, I wouldn't have spent two weeks struggling with my extensions...
With UNITY, I often work with 32 midi channels, a lot of sounds with at least 8 layers each (for realism) and it really sounds great!
I'll test it with 64 midi ch + 64 audio while recording 8 tracks at a time... I'm shure it works easy! We'll see...
Try it! I'ts worth it!
