Hey i've got a project i'm working on that i haven't been able to find any info on.
here's the deal: basically i've got a band that's going to be jammin out and i'd really like to be able to do some video backgrounds behind them as them play. I'd like the video to be visualizations similar to any of the players that are out there but i want it all real time. I want the visualization to respond to what they're playing now!!
Could someone turn me on to some software that will stream a live audio feed? I know live audio webcasts happen all the time, but i can't find the right stuff to do it. I can do this all locally on one computer, but if i need to run a local server off that one no problem. my laptop is running apache w/ php right now.
Any help would be great!
