Yeah me too-only found out yesterday when I went to Mescaleros website, which I periodically check to see what Joe was up to.I'm along time Clash fan (first heard em back in the late seventies when I was in highschool) and bought my first electric guitar inspired by bands like the Clash and the whole punk rock thing.
I feel really bummed out about this. I was lucky enough to see Joe perform live with the clash in 1982 during the rock the casbah era and it was truly an awsome experience. I think that was the only time he performed in Australia where I live.
What a great loss..
