On another forum, I got into a discussion with a guy about Led Zeppelin IV, and he made some interesting comments about the production on "When the Levee Breaks". I don't want to color your replies, so I won't mention what he said for now, but I'd like to hear what you guys and gals, as more experienced with that sort of thing than us, think about the production on that song...

The main thing for me is the drum sound.

That cavernous room sound with the single delay on the 16th's... must be one of the most often imitated drum sounds I've ever heard.

Does anybody here like Jeff Martin? I don't.
But anyways, you can hear what I'm talking about on a handful of Tea Party tracks
(but that's because Tea Party gleaned more of their better ideas straight from Led Zep)
like that Dancing Days bridge section in one of their latest, heard it on the radio (against my will) I was ****ing horrified...
