SATA RAID setup Problems...

How do I create partistions once the drives are installed and striped?? I use Partion magic usaually.

A bit more detail perhaps??

Asus mobo, 2 onboard SATA connectors(sil RAID chip) and 2 80gb SATA maxtors. Installed and setup RAID as "striped" in the RAID BIOS config. Boot into windows XP and the 2 drives show up in hardware configuration...also show up in partionmagic7 so tried creating a 40GB Fat32 partion and it failed near the end of the process 3 times in a row. ANyone know why????

please help.....dot need alot of info, just a clue and some bullet points to get me under way.
