cd player wire on inside of computer

my latest computer mobo did not come with the wire that connects the cd rom audio to the mobo so you can listen to cds.

is this a standard wire?

if so, i'll just get one online somewhere.

That wire hasn't been neccessary on most computers for years now. Modern setups will extract the audio over the IDE bus and stream it to the sound device.
