hi guys,

i'm getting ready to gobble up one of the zillion matrox g450 millenium 32mb cards that are on ebay right now.

sometimes they look a little different from one another if you look closely at the electronics.

was there ever a "bad year" for these things?

here's the way i'm looking at it: if it has the two big blue plastic rectangles on it going out to the vga ports, and it's the 4x 32mb ddr agp version, then it's probably just like mine (which i love).

but i did notice one on ebay said "made in china". mine says "made in thailand". does that matter?

i know it sounds weird, but i'm just trying to avoid a "bad batch" of g450 cards if there is such a thing.

Do not worry about the electronics they decided to use a smaller electronics board at some point. Same card same good qaulity.

ATI Radeon 7000 64M Dual Head VGA TV Out "Retail Box"

$60

Better to have a warranty than to go e-bay or with an old model G450, plus the ATI card has a better resolution.

Just an idea "Bubs" wanna help you out!
