Use vaccuum-tube preamp (ie:ART or drawmer) when tracking from your midi gears. If possible, use balanced connection from the preamp output to your DAW input. Process percussive tracks with waves L1 lightly (1-2dB of gain reduction). These will warm-up the sound.
