I am using Sound Forge 4.5 to transfer music from cassettes to CDs. How can I get rid of the noise between different tracks on the CD. The noise level (white noise?) goes up drastically and is annoying since I use CD trax for live performance. Also, I have a couple songs that have a noise level that seems to be super - imposed an the music. Any help is greatly appreciated!

You either need to buy the Noise Reduction plugin for SF, or get a different program that includes it. SF by itself doesn't do NR, sorry... Steve

Thanks, Steve for your reply. Thought it was perhaps something along those lines. I also have Sonar XL and have used it a little. The learning curve is more difficult and I have been slow to learn! Thanks again!
