I just recently recorded some old tunes my buddy and I recorded years ago into Sound Forge. They were originally recorded straight to cassette tape, so the quality isn't spectacular to begin with, plus some of it is around 10 years old.

I EQ'd and normalized the songs to the same level, only now some of the songs are drastically louder than others. What should I do to get the "volume" the same on all the songs?

Thanks

The first things I would recommend, you've already done (Normalizing and EQ).

Your next step would be various passes of compression (Wave Hammer has a nice interface for this). Additional EQ can help too. Be sure to A-B as you go, so you don't over do it. Good luck!!

Any fundamental tips on compression? Never used it before.

Thanks for the reply.
