Cakewalk VST wrapper

I've had the FXpansion VST wrapper for years and it has worked fine. Cake sent the latest version (they bought out FXpansion's wrapper) and now SF (and CEP) lock up when I cancel or quit a VST plug-in. Anyone else having this problem?

Yeah, the same thing happened in the last "official" FXpansion, 4.2 beta. I reported it to Angus back in January during the 4.2 beta testing phase. I was surprised to find that the Cakewalk version(which is basically the latest 4.3 version of the FXpansion VST-DX wrapper) does the same thing. Obviously, this issue was never addressed. I went back to the 4.1 version and all is well again. You will need to use an earlier version of the adapter, 4.2 & 4.3 will always crash Sound Forge when you close a wrapped VST effect.

You are right about that.... I was going to uninstall my latest FXpansion wrapper, but didn't. Am using that now. Hope Cakewalk does a fix.
