Well, I can do this the painful way in Vegas, but I though Acid might be quicker. I need to create a slowdown effect with pitch change (like a record running down) for a play. I pulled the file into Acid and it did the nifty beatmapper thing (pretty impressive - I'm new to Acid) and it came out at about 74 bpm, but when I've tried to put in successive tempo/pitch changes it doesn't want to let me go below 70 bpm. Is there some sort of time stretch limit in Acid to avoid artifacts, and is there some way I can bypass it? I've looked in the manual (printed it out from the PDF file for handy bathroom reading) and it doesn't say anything...
