Jog Function in sound forge

this might seem like a really basic thing to ask but i am trying to edit an mp3 and need to be able to stop the cursor on the timeline and be able to hear the sound the cursor is over and then take out the exact piece of music i want, i think this is called jog or shuttle. I can nearly get what i want ny holding down the space bar but as soon as i let go it plays. Anyway i have looked in the manual and cant find anything remotely similar. I hope you understand what im trying to do please help its doing my head in

Unfortunatly, the closest thing you have to scrubbing in Soundforge is the strip just above the timeline. If you left click with your mouse up there the cursor will move to that time point. No smooth jog wheel scrubbing though. http://www.audioforums.com/forums/frown.gif
