View Full Version : editing spoken word for cd in sf 6
I would like to be able to extract some spoken word from a cd and establish cd id points according to differnt topical points being made on the original cd which recorded on a stand alone cd recorder. Is this possible without cutting it up into a bunch of individual segment.

You'd be best suited with BOTH Sound Forge 6.0 and CD Architect 5.0. Sound Forge 6.0 isn't going to give you Red Book CD burning tools, but CDA5 certainly will. You'll be able to scrub through your extracted .wav file (from CD) with Sound Forge, drop track markers in the Sound Forge timeline, then save the file as a .wav with imbedded markers. Then you open that file into CDA5 and convert your markers to track indexes and away you go.
