Hi all,
New to using acid 4.0. I wanted to export some wave drumloops imported into acid at a different tempo to the original wave file, however, whenever I "save as" or "render as" the drumloop, it exports it in the original tempo of the loop, not the altered tempo. Can someone help?
Thanks
Darren

Try "export loops".

Record the new loop at different tempo
save as .wav

Let me try a go at this.
1. double click on the loop of choice in the "explorer" window. This will load the loop into a track. Pait in enough for one pass of the loop.

2. Set your tempo and the "loop region" markers (on top of the track info - beside "1.1.000" - yellow corners)to match one pass of the loop.

3. Under file select render as. When that window opens check,"Render loop region only."
Name your new loop and decide where to put it.

Unless I have missed a step, you now have your loop at the new tempo.

Make sure you are running the latest updated version of ACID. This would be 4.0B and is available - Here (http://www.sonicfoundry.com/download/step2.asp?DID=405)

Hey guys,
Thanks for all your help - yes it does work, but I find there is a discrepancy in tempos b/w acid and cubase. i.e. render something in acid at certain bpm and I find when I import that audio file into cubase at the same tempo, the tempo is about 5bpm too fast.. Wierd....
