Hello people,
I just hooked up a new interface, the Aardvark Q10. Other than that everything was existing and was working properly. My old interface was a Seasound Solo ex.

Problem:
When I try to record an analog track the meters in the record dialog box don't show any incoming signal. When I check the recording device drop down menu it shows Microsoft Sound Mapper and also has right and left choices.

If I go to options > preferences > audio, it shows Microsoft Sound Mapper or Windows Classic Waves driver in the drop down menu. If I click advanced, all of the Q10's in and outs show up but no matter what I click on, "apply" never becomes active (it remains grayed out) so I can't make any changes stick. I'm not sure if that's where the problem is but that's what I've found so far.

BTW, I don't have any problems recording through the Q10 in Samplitude Pro on the same computer. So the Q10 is working correctly. This problem only exists when using Acid. I'm running 98se.
Thank you very much for any help.

Check to make sure you are using the Windows Classic Wave Driver. Once you have selected that driver, your Q10 should be listed in the pull down menu below. Check in the software controls for the Q10 that you have Wave or MME emulation turn "on". Verify that you have the latest supported drivers for the Q10 from the manufacturer's site and check the version of ACID you are running. The Sonic Foundry updates page is Here (http://www.sonicfoundry.com/download/step1.asp?CatID=2).
