SoundForge 6 and DirectX 9

do you SoundForge users know if V6 is compatible w/DirectX 9? I'd like to install them to enhance my Radeon Sapphire Atlantis 9000 Pro 64MB video Card, using its latest drivers, Ctalyst 3.0, in Windows 2000 SP3.
Can't go back on Win2K if something's wrong, though! Can't reinstall DirctX 8.1.

I have been using it for a while with SF 6.0 and so far no troubles as yet.

Be aware though I'm using it on a win 98 machine. I have not loaded DX 9 on my XP box.
