How do you play multiple tracks at once in SF 4.5. I have Cakewalk 9.0, and I would like to do the editng in SF. I can import multiple tracks from CW to SF, and get them lined up the way I want them, but when I hit play, I can only play one track at a time. Thanks in advance...

Sound Forge is only going allow you to play one file at a time. If you would need support for playing more than one file at a time like in Cakewalk, you should take a look at Vegas. Vegas Video 3.0 will allow for multi-track audio editing just the same way you are used to in Cakewalk. Thanks for the reply, and the suggestion. I think for the time being, I'll just try and do what I can in CW Audio View, but at least I know now it can't be done in SF.

it can be done, but not with more than 2 files. You select 1 of them, and you copy it(ctrl+c).then you go to menu:edit-paste special-mix;then you get the interface for mixing the two files.I havent tried it with more than 2 files, but mess and you'll learn it,if possible at all.But why bugging yourself with it if you have Cakewalk. You have better interface, and u can mix hundred files if you want. That would be all from me,and another thing:read the program's help files, they are really useful.
