"Delete" not working in SF 5.0

I am used to deleting a highlighted section in SF 5.0 by pressing the 'delete' key. Now when I do that the selected area becomes a new region and is not deleted. I haven't been able to easily find an explanation. Help!!

This feature is known as "Treat As Cutlist". In order to turn this off, go to Special_Playlist/Cutlist and un-check "Treat As Cutlist". This will return your Deleting ability.

Thanks a bunch. My solution was to buy and install version 6.0. Your solution was easier and less expensive. http://www.audioforums.com/forums/wink.gif
