hello,
i have a strange thing to ask... about softwares in general and sound forge at the moment.
in every software there is always a help file that enables one to pass through hard times...right!.....is it possible to have that software help file in print or in the form of any e booklet 4 free...coz honestly it gets difficult to read on the screen...
the option of printing every page is beyond the scope of course... so any help in this regard?
number 2.....
where can i learn about the digital audio basics any free course through the net or any free e book.....(to use sound forge in the best manner) http://www.audioforums.com/forums/confused.gif

Yeah, that manual would be helpful as a PDF, huh? However, I don't know that there is a way to "print out" the help pages. So, no dice there.

And, as much as I despise his free advertising use of these boards through obvious "power tips postings," Scott Garigus has a book called "Sound Forge Power" which could be pretty useful for a newbie. It is basically the manual printed in a different form. You can get it at virtually any bookshop or from his website.

To print helpfiles, open the index and do it from there. When you select a node that's containing a bunch of pages, it will print all the pages under that heading.

Hope it's clear the way I try to explain it http://www.audioforums.com/forums/wink.gif

Howdy,

You can download .pdf manuals for all of Sonic Foundry's current (and not so current) applications from http://www.sonicfoundry.com/download/step1.asp?CatID=12
