Well I just finished installing XP on a brand new DAW and most of my software.

I used to use Ontrack Fix It for all of my "housekeeping" and defrag jobs.

However the version which I have does not support XP. Should I spend thye $40 and upgrade to the latest version which does ?

are utillity programs worth it for XP?
Does any one have any suggestions for other utillity programs and why?

PS: I used to use Norton and found that it caused tons of problems.

I really like VoptXP -
http://www.vopt.com/

Beacause it allows batch defragging, optionally with a clean restart.
