Powered Plugins for Pro Tools LE

Does anybody know about powered plugins for Protools LE?

I have inquired about this, and don't know that anyone is developing anything for PTLE. I got an email reply from TC (makers of PowerCore) who said they'd love to develop it for the Digi001, but I guess they have to get the support from Digidesign to do this.

Obviously, host based systems would benefit greatly from this, but I would guess Digidesign doesn't want the 001 to get too powerful, to keep it from encroaching on the TDM systems. I can understand that, but I do think Digidesign seriously needs to implement dual processor and Altivec support.

Will never happen. check out ua site- they stae that they will not develop for RTAS. TC powercore is not developing for RTAS either. Digidesign would be crazy to let this happen- good for us consumers but would kill their TDM sales
