View Full Version : where do audiosuite plugin files go on the harddrive?
I have pro tools mixplus and I downloaded some audiosuite plugins in a .sit file. When I expand them it shows the plugin but I do not know where to put them. Is there a certain folder they would go in? They did not come with an installation program.
Thanks

You downloaded some AudioSuite plug-ins in a Stuffit Archive, but there's no read me or a PDF file to tell you how to use them?
Pardon me for being a cynic, but this sounds rather fishy. Rather than just give you the answer I'll tell you where to find it.
Consult your Pro Tools manuals for information as to what goes where. There's plenty of information in there on how to use plug-ins and where they should reside on your hard drive. If you don't have a manual (which would also be odd, since you have a PT|Mix Plus system, which comes with several manuals) perhaps you should consult the manufacturer of the plug-ins. They'll want your registration/serial number, etc., so be sure to have that info handy. They'll be more than happy to be of assistance to you!
Good luck!
