I am a Sound Technology Degree Student at the Liverpool Inst. for Performing Arts who is currently writing a dissertation on "The Effects of Portable Rerecording Technologies on the Recording Industry." I am most interested in engineers who have "recorded where no man/women has recorded before." An example of the type of person I am looking for is Mikail Graham. He took a G3 Powerbook based Protools system to Ecuador where he recorded a Shuar Tribe in the Rainforests. He had to literaly carry everything with him. Pretty crazy, eh?
