Power Mac G4 & Pro digi001

I am thinking of using the power mac G4 and pro digi001 for music production. I was wondering if anyone is currently using this combination and there opinion of it.

If I had money, I'd have it. Next week, I'll be buying a G4 and other stuff, but can't afford the 001.

In my opinion, it's the dogs bollocks of home recording systems. Ive tried it in practise and seen + heard work done on it. It's a serious mother****er. <If you like Pro Tools, which I do>

i have a G4 400 with 310 megs of ram. designated system and audio drives. I am very pleased with the performance. it has only crashed about 8 times in the year that i have had it. i usually work 4 days a week 10-14 hour days. 24 tracks, loads of plugins and alot of automation. definitely my best purchase. also the sessions are compatable with tdm systems. email me if you want to know more, i don't visit this forum too often. you may also check out the digidesign.com site. go to support, then user conference, then protools host for mac.
