Free plug-ins work with Protools free`?

Do any of the plugins for download on digidesign site work with the free version of PT?

Depends on the type of plug-in. I am not sure. The TDM plug-ins definatly do not work. The RTAS and Audiosuite(sort of the samething) might. But ProTools Free is so unreliable I wouldn't even bother. Shell out the measly 1500 and get the 001. Besides the "Free" plug-ins are only free for a limited time and then the Dll's sit around messing everything else up for years. have you ever tried to hunt down rogue Dll's?
