Can I use the compressor in pro tools in cubase5?

I have the pro tools free version which has a compressor. I use cubase5 and was wondering if I can use the compressor from pro tools in cubase5? or are there any free software compressors in the internet that can be downloaded?

To my knowledge Cubase is incapable of running Pro Tools AudioSuite plug-ins, assuming this is the file type of the compressor in PTFree (I don't use the Free version, so am unfamiliar with what comes with it).

Cubase uses VST format plug-ins. You can probably find a free/shareware compressor out there on the Internet. Do a search on a search engine such as www.dogpile.com (http://www.dogpile.com) or www.yahoo.com (http://www.yahoo.com) and see what pops up!
